It’s almost time for fall! Or so I keep telling myself as we just sweated through a sweltering 95 degree weekend. But I have faith and hope that soon we will get to experience the cool evenings, smell wood smoke in the air (that isn’t from a massive wild fire) and start pulling out the boots and scarves!
I had plans to decorate my house for fall this weekend, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it just yet. Maybe next week it will be a little cooler and I’ll be ready to pull out the pumpkins. In the meantime, here are a few fall crafts that I am using for inspiration this year!
This Toilet Paper Pumpkin was one of the easiest crafts I’ve ever done and it really looked cute on my mantel last year. I really liked using burlap ribbon instead of fabric. Trust me-you can handle this one! 🙂 Check out the instructions for this Toilet Paper Pumpkin here!
Have you discovered the joys of gold spray paint yet? Spray paint in general is so much fun, but gold paint takes it to another level. You can grab just about anything and make it look glamorous in seconds!
I used these place cards for Thanksgiving last year and loved them! Check out the instructions for metallic place cards here. If you want to see them in action, you can see the whole Thanksgiving Tablescape here.
Aren’t these turkeys adorable? If you have a kids table for Thanksgiving, these would make a great place marker. It’s also a fun thing to do to keep the kids busy while you’re preparing dinner! Click here for instructions to make Gum Stick Turkeys.
Create a pretty fall vignette with this simple DIY rustic pumpkin stand! It’s made with just fence pieces and comes together with just a few nails and some glue. Add paint and you’ve got a cute way to welcome fall.
It will also make a great candy holder for Halloween trick or treaters!
Well, if that doesn’t put you in the mood for fall, I don’t know what will! I hope you found some inspiration in this fun collection. Happy Fall, Y’all!
