Strawberries, strawberries everywhere!!! They were on sale for $1.48/2 lb carton at Winco today. Yes! I just used up a carton making yesterday’s post, Strawberry Eclair Cake, so I stocked up again and put together a yummy fruit salad with a “secret” ingredient.
The best thing about fruit salad is you can use whatever different kinds of fruit you like! Below are the ingredients I used. Feel free to make whatever substitutions you like. Adapted from Food.com
Sweetened Fruit Salad
Ingredients:
1 can pineapple, with juices
1 can sliced peaches, with juices
1 small box vanilla pudding mix
Whatever fresh fruit you like. I used:
1/2 small seedless watermelon
2 lbs. strawberries
2 bananas
1 lb green grapes
6 kiwis
1 mango
Directions:
Mix cans of pineapple and peaches together with pudding mix (this includes the juice from both cans) I only had the canned pineapple, so I just added a little milk to the mixture to thin it out.
Add in fresh fruit and toss to coat. Cover and chill before serving.
