We have a toy box full of toys for all ages. We have a playroom full of bins and shelves full of toys for all ages. We have an annual garage sale when I purge said toy bins and shelves, making room for new ones. Yet, somehow, the kids are always looking for something new. (For this reason exactly, I “hide” things up on the closet shelves and rotate toys so they all get equal love.) So this pin caught my attention, especially because it caters to toddlers. Even better- everything is made from things you most likely already have around the house. 10 ways to keep a toddler busy
After Easter, I tried the egg carton and plastic eggs activity, but Charlie was more interested in pulling out the eggs and looking for candy. There was no “putting back” the eggs, so it just made a mess. So today, I gave him a couple milk carton covers and an empty box of wipes. He has played and played with it! Use the Huggies wipe box, because it has the nice soft flap that’s friendly to little fingers. 🙂
