Place pumpkin in a bowl. Add spiced apple cider and whisk well.
Add cream soda. Stir lightly and pour into a glass.
Top glass with whipped topping and pumpkin pie spice.
Cold ingredients work best for this drink. For a creamier punch that would be served in a punch bowl for a crowd, soften a quart of vanilla ice cream and stir the whole can of pumpkin into the ice cream. Refreeze.Add the whole container of cream soda and apple cider to a punch bowl, and then scoop the pumpkin ice cream on top of the punch. Refresh with additional ingredients as needed.
