In a bowl, mix the sauce ingredients. You can easily adjust the salt to sweet ratio by changing the soy sauce and sugar amounts. Just taste as you go.
Pour about half of the sauce over the ground turkey and work it in with your fingers while forming patties. For easy sliders, form a rectangle with the ground turkey and then just slice it into 9 squares. Let the meat marinate for 30 minutes.
Grill over medium heat until internal temperature reaches 165° F
While the meat is cooking, grill the pineapple rings as well. Cut into fourths to serve on top of the slider patties.
To build the slider, open a Hawaiian roll and add a slider patty. Top with a slice of cheese, a chunk of grilled pineapple and then drizzle with some of the remaining sauce.
