Ingredients
For the chicken:
1.25
lbs
chicken breast
cut into 1 inch cubes

cup
cornstarch

Tablespoons
olive oil
4
cloves
garlic
minced (1 ½ tablespoons)

Tablespoon
ginger
grated (can use ginger paste)
1
teaspoon
red pepper flakes
⅓
cup
chopped green onion
For the sauce:
⅓
cup
seasoned rice vinegar
⅓
cup
soy sauce
½
cup
water
¼
cup
brown sugar
2
teaspoons
chili garlic sauce

Tablespoon
cornstarch
Instructions
In a large bowl, toss chicken with the ⅓ cup or cornstarch
1.25 lbs chicken breast,
⅓ cup cornstarch
Heat oil in a large skillet until it sizzles when a drop of water hits it
3 Tablespoons olive oil
Add chicken, and let brown on one side - about 3-5 minutes - then flip, and brown on the second side, making sure chicken is cooked through
While chicken is cooking, whisk sauce ingredients together
⅓ cup seasoned rice vinegar,
⅓ cup soy sauce,
½ cup water,
¼ cup brown sugar,
2 teaspoons chili garlic sauce,
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
When chicken is brown on both sides, add garlic, ginger, and pepper flakes
4 cloves garlic,
1 Tablespoon ginger,
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Cook, stirring, for one minute
Pour sauce over chicken, and stir until thickened
Stir in green onions
⅓ cup chopped green onion
Remove from heat and serve over rice
