Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 12" pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Place 9 dinner rolls around the pan, spread out evenly. Gently press down and flatten each one, working them together into a circle to form the crust. Press the seams together and keep the dough evenly distributed across the pan.
Brush with milk (may not need all of it) and sprinkle with sugar. Poke holes all over the dough with a fork to prevent air bubbles.
Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown around the edges and starting to brown on top. Remove and allow to cool.
In a medium bowl, whip the cream cheese with a mixer to smooth it out. If desired, add 1/2 cup of powdered sugar to increase the sweetness. Fold in whipped topping.
Using a spatula, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pizza dough. Top with favorite fruits. Slice with a pizza cutter and serve!
Notes
Can easily be stretched to 16 servings by slicing smaller!
Add powdered sugar 1/2 cup at a time to increase sweetness in the cream cheese mixture
Do not refrigerate-the dough will get chewy. It's fine to keep at room temperature for a while, but this isn't a "make ahead" recipe. If you want to make the crust the night before, you can do that. Just store on the counter, tightly covered.
Try different flavored cream cheese spreads or make your own by mixing fresh fruit into the cream cheese mixture!
